Week 3 Analysis: RISE Peer Feedback

After watching Sam’s video there were a couple of sentences that I could directly relate to, one of them being an academically mediocre student in high school. I was that student too, and now I’ve come to realize that it was just because I wasn’t enjoying my classes. I do think Sam managed to use appropriate images that go along with his story and are very good at portraying visual metaphors and the music goes really well with both the mood of the story and the rhythm of the narration. I would recommend that to make images even more interesting not using the same dust like effect in images like the Full Sail arch, considering it really works well with the starry background. In order for Sam to expand his story he could look for other images to replace the one he repeated a couple of times in order to make it flow better and work with the narration too. Overall I think sam did a great job in his digital story and he also gave some versatility by using movement in some of his images.
